The fourth National Infertility Day took place in London on Saturday 19th July 2008. The full day conference is aimed at empowering patients at all stages of their infertility journey and the health professionals who work with them.
HFEA Authority member Sam Abdalla and HFEA Director of Policy & Communications Tim Whitaker presented an analysis of the HFEA's long term data called 'Doctor... I am not pregnant after 3 attempts, what is my chance at the 4th attempt'

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) held its Annual Review meeting on Thursday 7 December 2006 in central London.
It was an opportunity for those with an interest in issues surrounding assisted reproduction, whether patient, practitioner or academic, to meet informally over drinks. There was a short presentation looking at some of the feedback the HFEA has received over the year from patients and a look ahead to the issues and challenges of the coming year.

The third National Infertility Day will take place in London on Saturday 10th June 2006. It is a full day conference aimed at empowering patients and it is suitable for those at all stages of their infertility journey, health professionals and anyone who comes into contact with those experiencing infertility or anyone who wishes to learn more about the treatments and therapies on offer.
Suzi Leather, Chair of the HFEA will be giving a Keynote Lecture Titled "Putting patients first."

Tomorrow's People: the Challenges of Technologies for Life Extension and Enhancement will take a close look at what some characterise as the next stage of evolution: conscious efforts by human beings to reshape their inherited physical, cognitive and emotional identities by extending lifespan and enhancing human capacities.
